Suncoast Building Approvals is a Building Certification Consultancy which has been based on the Sunshine Coast for over 24 years.

Our company provides expert advice and private certification services, to a wide range of clients.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Building Certifier to join our team.

In this busy and rewarding role you will be responsible for issuing development permits for building work and undertaking inspections. Knowledge of the South East Queensland Planning Schemes and experience in certification in the SEQ region would be an advantage

An attractive remuneration package including a company vehicle, CPD allowances and excellent working conditions will be offered to suitably qualified applicants.

To be considered for this position you must:

  • Have qualifications in Building Certification to a minimum accreditation level 3 as defined under the Building Act.
  • Experience using Visual Approvals Software (recommended)
  • Have vast experience in the field of Building Certification.
  • Be an independent and ambitious individual with strong written and verbal communication skills and is also able to work as a part of team.
  • Be QBCC licensed
